Being an old anime which started airing in 2011 i didn't have a lot of high expectations from this anime , but man did this anime just blow my expectations out of the ballpark!

<I will always try to keep as less of spoilers as possible, but like always there are some light spoilers>

The story begins with Rin Okumura , the main protagonist of the show and , I wont go too much on the character as character progession plays a huge role in this particular anime , just keep in mind that he is the typical angsty, rebellious teen that all of us know somewhere within our friend circle :p

Another important character is Yukio, Rin's smaller twin brother.

In this particular world, demons and humans coexist , demons living in a place called Gehenna and humans living in the world called Assiah , and as we get to know in the first episode itself , Rin is the son of none other than the frickin king of the Demon World , Satan (Like every other damn anime ever). However Rin is special , he has a human body while being a demon (he has really cool powers too :0).

The slice of life-ness of this anime is potent though not overpowering which is completely fine as we came here just for the fight scenes(let's face it).

Another thing the anime did really well was background music, managing to give me goosebumps every other time Rin got angry. Although the 2 openings were fine I didn't really think of them as mind blowing like "Unravel".

Overall I really really loved this anime , it had a lot of genres going for it and it just did everything good enough for it to become tolerable enough .

This one is a masterpiece and i would hugely recommend you guys to watch the two seasons . I would give it a personal rating of 8.5/10.

Thanks For Reading!!
